Arrangement of vesicles/plates on the dinoflagellate amphiesma cop, pop, cap, 3`, 2a, 6``, 7c, 6```, 2````, as, FM, ls, rs, ps; 1` exserte with adelopore on suture 1`/6``; 1a quadragonal, 2a hexagonal; growth type of thecal plates ?gonyaulacoidal. Cyst habit proximate, cavate, acavate, stoud to elongate ovoidal ovaloidal, ellipsoidal, polyedrical, fusiforme may have polar proturbances; wall composed of pedium and luxuria; surface smooth or ornamented and divided into area by finate and limbate ornaments; areation formula NR PR/XPR/cop, pop, cap, NR`/3`, NRa/1a(arch), 2a(arch)/2a, NR``/6``, NRc/Xc/7c, NR```/6```, NR````/2````; NRs/Xs/as, ls, rs, ps, 1` exserte, usually with porichnion on finis 1`/6``, 1a quadragonal, 2a hexagonal; archaeopyle anterior intercalary/apical, PR+2`+3`+1a+2a; operculum foederate (partim) and solvate (partim), opercular plates secate, general opercular formula (PR+2`+3`)(s)+1a(s)+2a(s).
