Synopsis:
Cysts compressed laterally, trilobate in outline with one epicystal and two hypocystal, broadly rounded lobes. Body with short solid processes confined to lobes. Paratabulation indicated by archeopyle only, latter apical, type (tA) with margin characteristically inclined posteroventrally; operculum free.

Description:
Shape: Outline trilobate in lateral view, lobes broadly rounded with one epicystal and two hypocystal lobes, epicyst commonly expanded
apically; elongate ellipsoidal in dorsoventral view.
Wall relationships: Endophragm and periphragm appressed.
Wall Features: No parasutural features. Endophragm smooth periphragm variously ornamented with features of low relief and with processes confined to the lobes.
Archeopyle: Apical, type (tA); principal archeopyle suture zigzag, margin characteristically inclined posteroventrally; operculum free.
Paratabulation: Indicated by archeopyle only.
Paracingulum: Typically not indicated.
Parasulcus: Typically not indicated, anterior end inferred from offset
position of sulcal notch.
Size: Medium.
