Beaumontella
From Williams et al., 2017:
[Beaumontella, Below, 1987, p. 69-70
Type species: originally as Hystrichosphaeridium langii, Wall, 1965a (pl.6, fig.9; pl.9, fig.9)] ; Beaumontella langii, Below, 1987
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original description: [Below, 1987]: (Translation: Bureau of Translation, Secretary of State Canada, 1988, Part I, p. 187-188 (Description))
Diagnosis:
Prognosticated arrangement of vesicles/plates on the dinoflagellate amphiesma: cop, pop, cap, 5`, 3a-4a, 7", 7c, 5-6```, 2````, ns. Cystic habit proximate to skolochorate, ellipsoidal, ovaloidal, ovoidal, spheroidal, of variable size; walls composed of pedium and luxuriate ornaments; surface smooth or structured, with hollow or solid intratabular processes, multiaccedate, multiserial; accedation formula n[2], n[1], NRc/nc,
n(1), NR(2)/n(2), n(3), n(4), NRs/sas, pas, rs, ls, pps, sps; number of appendages individually variable, 50-60 intraareate processes distributed as follows: secanterior series n[2] (4-5), primanterior series n[1] (7-9), cingulum nc (0, 7-9), primposterior series n(1) (9-10), secposterior series n(2) (0, 8-11), tertposterior series n(3) (5-8), and quartposterior series n(4) (2-6), as well as sulcal sas, pas, rs, ls, pps and sps, complete reduction of the cingular and secposterior processes as well as of individual sulcal appendages; cingulum and series of appendages laevorotatory or planispiralled; archeopyle apical, tn[2], operculum solvate, opercular pieces secate, general opercular formula 1[2](s)+2[2](s)+3[2](s)+4[2](s)+5[2](s)+n[2](s).

Fensome et al., 1991, p. 80:
Affinities:
Below, 1987 compared Beaumontella with Suessia Morbey, 1975 and Wanneria Below, 1987. He noted that each of the numerous processes occurs at the centre of a paraplate, as is shown by the opercular pieces. However, whether this reflects the original thecal pattern is not certain since in the related genus Suessia, Below (1987) reported evidence that the paratabulation and tabulation may not be homologous. He implied that the series determined as the cingulum is somewhat interpretative and depends upon close examination of the sulcal series and similar genera. Below, 1987 also recorded that complete reduction of a process series may occur, such variation having been treated by Wall (1965) as indicating different species. The detailed discussion is given in Below, 1990, p. 70

G.L. Williams short notes on species, Mesozoic-Cenozoic dinocyst course, Urbino, Italy, May 17-22, 1999 - LPP VIEWER CD-ROM 99.5.
Beaumontella, Below, 1987a. Below (1987a) gave the following tabulation 5`, 3-4a, 7", 7c, 5-6"' , 2"'' . The number of processes is 50-60. The archeopyle is apical, operculum solvate, the opercular pieces secate.
