Favilarnax
From Williams et al., 2017:
[Favilarnax, Sarjeant, 1963a, p. 720
Type Species: as Membranilarnax ovulum, Deflandre, 1947d (text-fig.22)] ; Fauilarnax ovulum, Sarjeant, 1963
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original Description: [Sarjeant, 1963]:
Diagnosis:
Hystrichospheres having an ellipsoidal to spherical shell, smooth or granular, bearing raised crests which form a meshwork over the entire surface. The meshes are polygonal to subpolygonal: supporting spines, simple or branched, may be present at crest nodes. The crests sustain an outer membrane or cyst, concentric with the shell or approximately so. An archaeopyle, of polygonal or irregular outline, may be present at one pole.
