Heliodinium
From Fensome et al., 2019:
"Heliodinium", Alberti, 1961, p.33.
Emendation: Sarjeant, 1966b, p.142.
Taxonomic senior synonym: Hystrichodinium, according to Clarke and Verdier (1967, p.37–38) and Lentin and Williams (1977b, p.72).
Type: Alberti, 1961, pl.8, fig.2, as Heliodinium voigtii.

Original description: [Alberti, 1961]: (Translation: LPP):
Description:
Shell polyedrical, partly rounded, sometimes ovoidal. Dorsoventral flattened. Epitheca slightly larger than Hypocyst or both of equal size. Transverse furrow laevorotatory, slightly indented. Shell tabulate. Pre- and Postcingular plates trapezoidal. Probably 6 preequatorial plates. Longitudinal furrow system present. On plate boundaries crests from which dagger-like processes arise.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emended description:
Sarjeant, 1966:
Description:
Proximo-chorate dinoflagellate cysts, spheroidal, ovoidal or subpolygonal in shape, with tabulation ?3`, ?oa, 6``, ?oc, 6```, ?op, 1````. Sutures faintly marked by ridges or low crests, from which arise flattened, dagger to ribbonlike, very flexible processes; processes typically simple, bifurcate or multi-furcate. Cingulum strongly or weakly helicoid, bounded by low crests; sulcus less well marked. Shell surface smooth, granular or punctate. Precingular archaeopyle formed by loss of plate 3``.
