Diagnosis:
Dinoflagellate cyst with tabulation consisting of one six-sided apical plate, one six-sided antapical plate joined by three large plates which are both pre- and post-cingular in position.
Archaeopyle apical.
Two types of processes present, one series of which is large and hollow while the other consists of smaller, solid appendages. Both types have expanded or bifurcating tops.
