Diagnosis:
Thin-walled proximate cyst of angular to rounded-hexagonal outline. Phragma lacks conspicuous ornament, is usually folded, and consists of only an autophragm. Incomplete gonyaulacoid paratabulation sketchily delineated by thin ridges.
Paracingulum usually distinct. Development of other parasutures variable on individual cysts and may be barely discernible.
Apical paraplates and a low, blunt apical horn usually visible, but may be undeveloped or present merely as a low prominence.
