Description:
Small unicellular test of presumed dinoflagellates, +/- ovoid in side view, subcircular in apical view, longitudinal axis (perpendicular to cingulum) is
generally longer than transverse axis; test thin, finely punctate to intergranulate, devoid of tabulation; a round equator being a clearly developed and raised "cingulum" "sulcus" often not present; an apical "archeopyle" sometimes visible; light yellow in colour.
