Bacchidinium
From Williams et al., 2017:
[Bacchidinium, Davey, 1979b, p. 555
Type species: originally as Hystrichosphaeridium recurvatum subsp. polypes.Cookson and Eisenack, 1962b (pl.4, figs.11–13)] ; Bacchidinium polypes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original description: [Davey, 1979]:
Diagnosis:
The cysts are subspherical and bear many solid, mainly intratabular processes. One or more processes may be present per paraplate. Paratabulation is absent and the only polar structure that may be present is a small apical boss. Process alignment parallel to the paracingulum may be present. The archeopyle is dorsal precingular formed by the loss of one or two paraplates.
