Pylomacystion
From Williams et al., 2017:
[Pylomacystion, Warren in Brideaux and McIntyre, 1973, p. 400.
Name not validly published: no description.]
Examination of topotype material, kindly provided by Dr. W. R. Evitt (Stanford University) and Dr. J. S. Warren (University of Cincinnati), has established that the unpublished species, "Pylomacystion californicum", of Warren (1967, p. 343; plate 32, figs. 7-9), is identical with Lunatadinium dissolutum gen. et sp. nov. Warren (op. cit.) discussed his species at length and noted its dinoflagellate cyst characters, but preferred to place it among the Acritarcha.
