Polysphaeridium combibaculum
From Fensome et al., 2019:
Polysphaeridium combibaculum (Song Zhichen in Song Zhichen et al., 1985, p.29–30, pl.6, figs.10–11) Fensome et al., 2019a, p.56. Holotype: Song Zhichen et al., 1985, pl.6, figs.10–11; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.32, fig.5; Fensome et al., 2019a, fig.20H. Originally Cyclonephelium, subsequently (and now) Polysphaeridium. Questionable assignment:
Fensome et al. (2019a, p.56). Age: ?Early Pleistocene.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Comments Fensome et al., 2019a:
This species appears to have the morphology of Polysphaeridium rather than Cyclonephelium, and its Pleistocene age supports that observation. We thus tentatively transfer the species to Polysphaeridium.
Stratigraphical occurrence. The type material is from the Pleistocene of the East China Sea.
