Sentusidinium macbethiae

Sentusidinium macbethiae (Mantle, 2009b, p.100–101, pl.8; figs.1,3–5) Wood et al., 2016, p.85. Holotype: Mantle, 2009b, pl.8, fig.1. Originally Batiacasphaera, subsequently (and now) Sentusidinium. Age: Bathonian–Callovian.

Original description [Mantle, 2009b]:
Batiacasphaera sp. cf. B. macbethiae sp. nov.

Dimensions (2 specimens): Length of cyst (excluding operculum) 55, 65 μm; maximum width of cyst 60, 40 μm; thickness of cyst wall 1-1.5 μm.
Comparison: These specimens are very similar to Batiacaspbaera macbetbiae but lack the distinct dark accumulation spot that characterises the latter.
Local occurrence: Elang Formation; Voodooia tabulata Interval Zone (Subzone VT1); rare.
