The name of the species is from lat. apertulatus - finely aperture.
Holotype. Table 5, fig.10, I a. Leningrad, palynologic laboratory
basin of the Oka River, village of Iueminskoye, obn. I2, sl.4, arr.85, sandstone; Lower Cretaceous (Berrias, Riasanites rjasanensis zone иpper Garniericeras subclypeiforme).

Description. The cyst is flattened-broadly ellipsoidal, with a small aperture in the apex area. The apertura is apical, rounded with a diameter equal to a quarter of the diameter of the cyst, well
outlined along the contour. Parasingulum is subject to availability small sparse folds in the equatorial region. Fragma Medium thickness (2 um), double-layered, the outer layer is smooth, the inner layer is
shagreen. There is no paratabulation. The color is dark yellow.

Dimensions in μm. Holotype: 63x55, 16.3; Type: D - 55, Sh-50, Yes - 16.
Material. 2 copies of good condition.
Variability. Not traced.
Comparison and remarks. This new species is different from the others previously established VCCs with small sizes of the apical apertures. See type specimens.
