The name of the species is from Latin. Cryptofoveolatus is latent pitted.
Holotype. Table XXX, Figs.3, 3 a. Leningrad, palynological VNIGRI Laboratory, col. V.A.Fedorova, lecturer. ?588/I-48. Russian platform, the basin of the Oka River, the village of Kuzminskoye, obn. 12, sl.3, arr.? 86, sand; Upper Jurassic (Upper Volga substage, Cra zone.
pedite• •ubditu•). Preparations of N.V. Bystrova.

Description. The cyst is ellipsoidal, truncated by apex in the aperture area. Apical aperture, oval?, c with a diameter of a little less than half the diameter of the cyst, weakly submerged, with a smooth thickened contour. Parasingulum is narrow, weakly submerged, it looks like a lightened equatorial belt.
The phragma is of medium thickness (about 2 μm), thickest in the area of apex and equator; three?, double-layered, with a smooth outer layer, wavy coarse-medium, creating a latent cellular (Hidden mesh?)structure; The cells are 4-5 μm in diameter and have granular substrate, evenly distributed over the surface cysts; the partitions between them are low, sparse, paratabulation is absent. ~ yellow cysts.

Dimensions in μm. Holotype: 56.6x50.
Material. One copy is in excellent condition.
Variability. Not traced.
Comparison. The selected species differs from other known ones species of the genus Fromea have a latent cellular structure of the phragma.
