Aprobolocysta galeata

From Fensome et al., 2019:
Aprobolacysta galeata, Backhouse, 1987, p.212, figs.9I–L.
Holotype: Backhouse, 1987, figs.9I–J; Fensome et al., 1996, figs.1–2 — p.2135.
Originally (and now) Aprobolocysta, subsequently Necrobroomea. Lentin and Williams (1993, p.31) retained this species in Aprobolocysta.
Age: Valanginian–earliest Hauterivian.

Locus typicus: Perth Basin, Australia

Original description: [Backhouse, 1987, p. 212]:

Description:
Cyst small, proximate, elongate and ovoidal. Apex tapered to a sharply rounded crest without an apical horn. Antapex with 2 short, broad horns, variably developed from specimen to specimen. Endophragm finely granular and attached at numerous points to a tightly folded, completely enveloping periphragm.
Archeopyle apical, probably type [tA]; operculum usually missing. Archeopyle shape resembling that of other species of Aprobolocysta.

Dimensions:
Total length of holotype 65 µm.
Range of length with operculum missing (13 specimens) 47(55) 61 µm, width 25(34)38 µm.

Affinities:
Absence of an apical horn and wrinkled cyst surface distinguish A. galeata from Batioladinium micropodum (Eisenack & Cookson) Brideaux 1975. In A. bipartita the periphragm is only folded in precingular and postcingular areas.
