Diagnosis: Morgenroth, 1968:
the ellipsoidal relatively thick-walled theca has a granular surface. It is covered by a profusion of short, structureless membranous lists that are distally smooth. There is a pylome but no other evidence of tabulation, not even a cingulum or sulcus.

Size: length 34-43 µm, width 31-39 µm, height of appendages 3-5 µm.
