Original description: [Hultberg, 1985, p. 105]:

Description:
Chorate cyst, composed of endophragm and periphragm, closely appressed between processes.
The surface of the endophragm is slightly granulate. The surface of the periphragm is slightly fibrous. The shape of the cyst is subspherical.
Paratabulation is expressed by two types of intratabular processes. The first type is hollow, tapering, or lagenate, with open, multifurcate process-tips, which are slightly expanded. The other type is very broad, cylindrical or flattened, with branched, digitate process-tips. The paratabulation is gonyaulacacean, process-formula: 4', 6'', 6c, 1p, 5''', 1''''.
The archeopyle is precingular, type P, formed by detachment of paraplate 3''. Operculum free.
Paracingulum is indicated by six very large processes. Parasulcus is indicated by five to ten very small, slender processes.
