Taxonomic senior synonym: Hystrichosphaera (as and now Achomosphaera) crassipellis, according to Quattrocchio and Sarjeant (1996, p.116).
Age: Maastrichtian.

Description:
Cyst sphaerical to oblong, wall moderately thick, endophragm and periphragm in close contact, surface ornament perforate.
Processes thin, long, hollow, bases broad, in close contact with test wall layers, termination acuminate and recurved; sometimes processes branched.
Archaeopyle precingular.

Dimensions:
Holotype - 50x40 µm, range - 40-60x38-50 µm; length of processes 14 µm, range 12-20 µm.
