Originally Cannosphaeropsis, subsequently Adnatosphaeridium, thirdly Rigaudella.
Tax. jr syn. of Cannosphaeropsis (now Rigaudella) filamentosa Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, according to Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990.
