Apteodinium microceratum n. sp.
Plate 1, Fig. 2

Type: The specimen shown on Plate 1, Fig. 2 and preserved in the Gingin Brook II specimen.
Diagnosis: Shape almost spherical, epitract slightly conical, hypotract flatly spherical. Epitract far exceeds the hypotract, with a tiny apical horn. Girdle only indicated by a fold. Wall thin and smooth.
Dimensions: 57 x 57 μ.
Note: A. microceratum is characterized by its spherical shape and tiny apical horn.
Occurrence: In the Gingin Brook Bore at 404-414 ft. A second specimen measuring 73 x 66 μ is preserved in the Pebble Point Form. No. 3.
