Description:
Cysts ovoid or pyriform, dorsoventrally compressed. Periphragm only, thin. Surface smooth. One small, short apical horn, with a pore at end. No parasuture displayed.
Precingular archeopyle.
Paracingulum annular.
Dimensions:
Size: Cysts 80 - 86 µm long and 58 - 62 µm wide.
Affinities/Comparison:
This new species is distinguished from A. granulatum by its thin wall, smooth surface and one small, short apical horn.
