Apteodinium? cribrosum, Cookson and Eisenack, 1968
Stover and Evitt (1978, p.142) considered this to be a "provisionally accepted species" of Apteodinium.

Diagnosis:
Shell pear-shaped, divided by an indistinct girdle into a rounded hypotheca and a narrower epitheca with a short, blunt apical horn. The girdle though indistinct is c. 6 µm wide. The wall of the shell is relatively thick, especially in the antapical region, and seems to be perforated by small, densely arranged pores which give it a coarsely granular appearance in spite of its relatively smooth surface.
Dimensions:
Holotype - 62 µm long, 53 µm wide; Paratype - 85 µm long, 60 µm wide.
