Bulbodinium altipetax

Bulbodinium altipetax Wetzel, 1960, p.83, pl.1, figs.3,5,9. Holotype: Wetzel, 1960, pl.1, fig.5. Klement (1961, p.489–492)
suggested that this species is assignable to Deflandrea, but did not effect a formal transfer. Age: Senonian.

Description:
Overall shape of shell slimmer than in Bulbodinium seitzi and with stronger bulges in outline. Sides with pairs of lateral horns. Weak indication of a narrow longitudinal furrow. Apex pointed, antapex sharpened and ending in a lateral displaced horn-like protrusion.

Dimensions:
Holotype - 135:60 µm, paratype - 135:65 µm.
