Bulbodinium oistoides, O.Wetzel, 1960

Klement, 1961, suggested that this species is possibly a species of Scriniodinium Klement, 1957, but did not effect a formal transfer.

Description:
Very slim and slender in overall shape, widest at the middle part where lateral "horns" are situated. Epitheca small, ending in a beak-like protrusion. Hypotheca nearly cylindrical with rounded antapex.

Dimensions:
Holotype: 120:50 µm; paratype: 128:40 µm.
