A nonareate variant of the species Maturodinium inornatum in which granulae are fused to form the broad muri of the reticulum, which covers the cyst uniformly, and can be provided by reflected trichocyst pores.
Size: Holotype: length 63 µm, breadth 41 µm, thickness 40 µm.
