Rhombodinium oravensis, Grigorovitch, sp. nov.
(Table II, Fig. 6)

Holotype. IHGG IU AN UkrSSR, specimen 514-XI, Opor River; Middle Eocene, Orava Formation.

Diagnosis. The theca is rhombic. The epitheca is triangular with a small, broadly rounded apical horn. The hypotheca is also triangular with one antapical horn; the transverse groove is wide, forming small lateral horns with concave distal ends. The internal body is similar in outline to the theca and occupies almost its entire space. The theca surface is finely granular.

Holotype dimensions in microns: Length 112, width 133, length of internal body 91 microns, width 38 microns.

Location and material. Outcrop on the Opor River, Skole village; Middle Eocene, Orava Formation; 8 specimens.
