Description:
Test approximately sphaerical, tabulate, and divided into about 8 plates;
plates smooth, 15-22 µm wide, and bordered by a row of closely spaced processes;
processes short, slender, and equal; tips of processes bifurcate; processes supporting a delicate membrane enveloping the test; processes perpendicular to the surface of plates;
cingulum present but often indistinct;
archaeopyle not seen;
body thin walled and hyaline.
Stover and Evitt, 1978, considered this to be a provisionally accepted species of Chlamydophorella.
