Diagnosis:
Ellipsoidal, two layered theca. The outer layer bears cilia-like, distally pointed processes. On the sides of the theca the processes become thicker and hollow. Thick, finely granular inner layer. Broad cingulum divides the theca into equal portions.

Dimensions:
Holotype: length 110 µm, width 117 µm, length of processes 10-18 µm.
