Now Deflandrea?. Originally Peridinium, subsequently Cooksoniella, thirdly Palaeoperidinium, fourthly Deflandrea, fifthly (and now) Deflandrea?.
At the time of the transfer, Lentin and Williams, 1973, questionably included this species in Cooksoniella.
