Arrangement of vesicles/plates on the dinofiagellate amphiesma PR, 4", 1a, 5", 6c, 5""", 1"""", ns; growth of plates peridinioid.
Cyst form proximate to proximochorate, acavate, spheroidal; size small; wall composed of firm pedium and numerous short, scattered luxuriate processes with a complex structure; processes truncate, oblate, basally insiderate, distally tapering and terminally cauliflorate, longitudinally grooved or with longitudinal carinae, veils, or even septa connecting appendages; these septal connections are present only basally, below a narrow platform surrounding individual appendages and groups of appendages at half of their height; the ends of the appendages above this balcony are usually isolateA; nonareate; areation formula NR PR, NR1", NR2", 3"[arch] NR4", 1a[arch] NR", NRc, NR""", NR"""", NRs; cingulum and sulcus not indented; archeopyle apical/anterior intercalary, 3" + 1a; operculum solvate, secate, general opercular formula 3"[s] + 1a[s].
