NOW Glaphyrocysta. Originally Cyclonephelium, subsequently (and now) Glaphyrocysta.
Age: Early Oligocene.

Original description Morgenroth 1966

Derivatio nominis: incultus Latin = unadorned.
Holotype: The one in Slide H2/I preserved specimen shown on Plate 2 Fig. 5.
Paratypoids: H2丨II, H4, HS.
Locus typicus: Depold'sche Ziegelei (south of Helmstedt).
Stratum typicum: Lower Oligocene.

Diagnosis: A species of the genus Cylonephelium with weak
granulated capsule. The slender, massive processes extend distally
thin cords connected together, forming a simple, large mesh
form network.
Description: The thin-walled, slightly flattened dorsoventrally
Capsule has a slightly granulated surface. The antapical pole is
characterized by 2 bulges of different strengths.
The apical pole is almost without exception in the form of a pole cap with irregular
Split off into a jagged outline. - The slender massive processes
are arranged on a meridional belt and distal by relative
strong cords connected together, creating a very coarse mesh, simple
form network. - Dorsal and ventral sides of the capsule are usually
extension-free.

Comparisons: The new species differs in training from Cyclonephelium reticulosum GERLACH, which also occurs in the Oligozan
the simple cord-like distal connections of the processes, while in C. reticulosum fine membranous, net-like perforated edges
appear. In addition, there are no basal adhesions of the processes. - At C. pastielsi DEFLANDRE & COOKSON, the paws are more tender than the new one. The distal adhesions are also irregular, more like scrub.
