Original description: Cookson and Eisenack 1962b, p. 494: Cyclonephelium paucimarginatum
Shell flat, approximately circular in outline, with a narrow, continuous circumferential zone in which the sculptural elements, in the form of short, wavy ridges, are densely arranged and often intertwined. The general surface of the shell is finely to coarsely granular to vermiculate, the individual elements being coarser and more widely spaced in the central region of each side.

Dimensions: Holotype: 88 µ long; 86µ broad. Range: 88-130µ long; 86-138µ broad.

Age and occurrence: (?)Upper Albian to Cenomanian: Gingin area, Wapet"s seismic shot hole Bl at 190 ft.; Osborne formation, Attadale bore at 94 ft.; Subiaco bore at 358 ft. (light sample). Probably Cenomanian: Brickhouse bore (1950) at 1210 ft.
