Diagnosis: Shell flattened, its outline elongate, the sides convex. The epitheca strongly tapers forard and grows into a long, thin apical process. Hypotheca blunt at the antapex. Largest width of the shell below the equator. With two, almost equally long, thin antapical processes, which are sometimes furcate distally. The wall of the processes is sieve-like perforate.
Dimensions: Holotype: length 241 Ám, width 35 Ám, length of apical process 96 Ám, length of antapical processes 61 and 63 Ám. In the other specimens the total length varies between 248 and 298 Ám, the width between 32 and 38 Ám. 5 entire and 20 "halves" studied.
