NOW Senegalinium. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Lejeunia (combination illegitimate), thirdly Andalusiella, fourthly Lejeunecysta, fifthly (and now) Senegalinium.
Taxonomic junior synonym: Senegalinium psilatum, according to Herngreen (1975, p.61).

Diagnosis:
Outer cyst globose to sub-pentagonal in outline with a thin periphragm and a thick-walled inner cyst. The latter nearly fills the outer cyst and can be almost indistinguishable from it, except at the apices. Both apical and antapical horns are normally extremely low cones, and in globose specimens may be minute to nearly absent.
Thickenings in the inner cyst wall are usually present at the bases of the horns. The surface of the periphragm is smooth, as is that of the endophragm, and both commonly display folding.
The archeopyle is hexagonal, intercalary, and relatively large. No clear indications of either a girdle or tabulation are present, although transverse median folds are nearly always present in both the periphragm and endophragm.

Dimensions:
Length, normal to equatorial plane, overall 82 µm to 62 µm, equatorial width 74 µm to 52 µm.
