Description:
This, moderately large, subsphaerical species is characterised by a thick, intraperforate or spongy wall which can measure up to 7µm thickness. The paracingulum is typically well defined by parallel ridges which are particularly noticeable at the cyst margins. The parasulcus is marked by a shallow, elongate indention.
