A variety of W. (Rh.) glabra with a coarsely granular periphragm. Granules sometimes aligned in rows indicating possible tabulation. Dimensions: Holotype: l= 129 µm, h= 118 µm, capsule 83 µm x 83 µm, apical horn 16 µm, l. ant. h. 14 µm, r. ant. h. 22 µm, lat. h. 14 µm.
