Original diagnosis: Singh, 1971, p.316
Test oval with one short, tubular, apical horn; horn usually wider at the tip; cingulum very faint, often not visible; archeopyle precingular; surface of the test granular, clensely coverecl with stiff, pointed spines of medium length; spines curvecd ancd with slightly expanded bases; body wall about 1,5 µm thick.
Dimensions: Total length of the test, including the horn 63 (69) 72 µm. Holotype 63 µm. Total breadth of the test, including the spines 48 (55) 58 µm. Holotype 48 µm.
