Original description: [Singh, 1983, p. 152]:

Description:
Proximate to proximochorate, camocavate cysts with a slightly elongated subpentagonal outline; apex blunt, slightly angular; antapex truncated, with straight margin;
pericyst with a 24-28 µm wide, oval, antapical pericoelar opening (opisthopyle) occupying the entire antapical end; endocyst ellipsoidal with length more than width;
periphragm and endophragm dorsally appressed and widely separated elsewhere;
endocyst dark and smooth; pericyst membranous and granular;
paratabulation gonyaulacacean, typical for the genus, incompletely expressed in varying degree of clarity on the pericyst by vestigial gonal and intergonal processes devoid of stalks and represented only by their distal spines, and by discontinuous parasutural crests;
paracingulum about 5 µm wide, delineated by parallel, transverse, equatorial ridges, and subdivided into rectangular paraplates;
archeopyle precingular, type P (3" only); operculum free.

Dimensions:
Length of the pericyst 47(62)71 µm. Holotype 71 µm. Breadth of the pericyst 45(55)65 µm. Holotype 62 µm. Length of the endocyst 34(45)53 µm. Holotype 47 µm. Breadth of the endocyst 24(34)42 µm. Holotype 37 µm. Length of the spines 2-4 µm. Specimens measured 28.
