Rhombodella natans
Rhombodella natan Cookson and Eisenack, 1962
Originally Rhombodella, subsequently Palaeotetradinium.
Tax. jr. synonym of Rhombodella paucispina (Alberti, 1961) Duxbury, 1980, according to Stover and Evitt, 1978. Rhombodella paucispina therefore becomes the correct name for the type species of Rhombodella, but the nomenclatural type of the genus remains the holotype of Rhombodella natans.
