---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Locus typicus: Ravine northwest of Amalou, southwest Morocco
Stratum typicum: Aptian: Gargasian
Translation Below, 1981: Fensome et al., 1991, p. 565
Original diagnosis: Below, 1981, p. 112
Chorate cyst with a two-layered wall. Central body elongate-ovoidal to oval. Outline often pentagonal, consisting of a triangular epicyst with a low apical bulge and a semicircular to trapezoidal hypocyst. Height of septa 1/3 to 1/2 of the diameter of the central body; the septa consist of very delicate, smooth periphragm and are split distally in a V-like manner. Distal margins of these furrows are smooth or unevenly serrate. Parasutures meet apically and give rise to a low apical horn. The paratabulation is 4', 6'', ?6c, 6''', lp, 1'''', Xs. Archeopyle of type P(3'').
