Noricysta pannucea
Noricysta pannucea Bujak and Fisher, 1976
Holotype: Bujak and Fisher, 1976, pl.9, figs. 6,7, text-fig.5D
Locus typicus: Queen Elizabeth Islands, arctic Canada
Stratum typicum: Norian
Original diagnosis: Bujak and Fisher, 1976, p.58
Double-walled cysts with circular, oval or subrectangular outline. Extremely small swellings of walls may reflect positions of two antapical horns. Endophragm and periphragm in contact except where periphragm forms extremely low thin crests delimiting circular to slightly laevo-rotary cingulum and sometimes sulcus on hypotract. Rarely, similar crests may be also randomly positioned elsewhere on cyst. Archeopyle formed by removal of all of epitract except for precingular zone.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 51 µm, breadth 50 µm, maximum height of crests 2 µm. Observed range, length with operculum 46-55 µm, length without operculum 40-48 µm, breadth 46-54 µm, maximum height of crests 0.5-3 µm.
