Double-walled cysts, endophragm typically compressed dorsoventrally, oval to subrhomboidal in outline. Periphragm granular, in contact with periphragm except where crests are formed. Crests, which are most strongly developed around periphery of epitract and at antapex, are distally smooth. Cingulum circular or slightly laevorotary, defined by two low, thin, distally smooth crests. Sulcus sometimes defined on hypotract by low crests occasionally reaching antapex. No specimens with archeopyles were observed.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 59 µm, breadth 58 µm, maximum height of crests 8 µm. Observed range, length 40-62 µm, breadth 37-58 µm, maximum height of crests 5-8 µm.
