A small Spiniferites-species with oval shell and short but sturdy , however, only slightly furcated processes which display broad bases and blend with the shell. The spanning-membranes are in part highly developed, they pull themselves upward onto the processes and, at the antapex, form a lamellae-system which connects the processes present at the antapex.
Dimensions: shell about 38 x 28 µm, overall about 58 x 52 µm. One specimen.
Occurrence: Power House bore, at 640 ft.

With respect to size, length and furcation of the processes, the species represents the opposite extreme to the Sp. ramosus ramosus.
