Spiniferites multibrevis ssp. chebca
Spiniferites multibrevis ssp. chebca Below, 1982
Now Spiniferites chebca. Originally Spiniferites multibreuis ssp. chebca, subsequently (and now) Spiniferites chebca.
Holotype: Below, 1982, pl.8, figs.8a-c
Age: Hauterivian-Aptian
Original description (Below, 1982)
Diagnosis: A subspecies of Spiniferites multibrevis (Davey & Williams 1966) stat. nov. with evenly perforated endophragm and smooth to perforated periphragm, which also partially carries some granules. Broad-based, gonal processes ind bi- or trifurcate, parasutureal processes bifurcate. Variants bear only a few parasutural processes and thus lead to Spiniferites ancoriferus ssp. ghiran about. All appendages are bifurcat or bifid again in second order. They reach about 1/4 of the equatorial diameter in length. The parasutural membranes between the processes are low. Archaeopyle praecingular, type P3".
Measurements: holotype: length of central body 54 µm, width of central body 49 µm, length of processes 6-8 µ
other specimens: length of central body 48-56 µm, width of central body 45-50 µm, length of processes 6-10 µm
