A species of Hystrichosphaera having an ovoidal shell with a punctate surface. The sutures bear processes of very varied form; sometimes curved or erect, with branched, digitate or foliate tips. The processes may anastomose distally or may be linked to one or more neighbouring processes by short trabeculae: or they may be isolate. Length of processes typically one-third of the shell breadth.
