Odontochitina cribropoda Deflandre and Cookson, 1955
Tax. sr. synonym of Odontochitina subbaramana Jain and Taugourdeau-Lantz, 1973, according to Jain, 1977.
The name Odontochitina cribropoda was a nomen nudum in Deflandre and Cookson, 1954.

The globular body is provided with two divergent club-like appendages, the distal portions of which are perforated by a large number of rather regularly arranged small openings of irregular size and shape, while the proximal portions are entire, thicker-walled, and slightly constricted. The operculum or superior portion of the organism bears a long thorn-like appendage also perforated at its extremity.
Dimensions: Width of body about 74-87 µm, appendages from 53 to 110 µm long, perforated distal region 20-76 µm long and 10-26 µm broad.
