Apteodinium tomboviensis, Vozzhennikova, 1967

Now Pareodinia. Originally Apteodinium, subsequently Apteodinium?, thirdly (and now) Pareodinia. Stover and Evitt, 1978, considered this to be a provisionally accepted species of Apteodinium.

Description:
Theca pyriform, divided into two almost equal parts. Epitheca with a small, conical apical horn, which ends very bluntly. Hypotheca with a slightly convex antapex. Equatorial girdle annulate, indistinct. There are traces of a longitudinal furrow extending from the equatorial girdle to the antapex. Theca surface finely granular.
