Now Eurydinium. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Senegalinium, thirdly (and now) Eurydinium; see also Alterbia (combination illegitimate). Lentin and Williams, 1981 retained this species in Alterbia Lentin and Williams, 1976.

Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970, pl.12, fig.9
Locus typicus: Madura No. 1 Bore, Eucla Basin, Western Australia
Stratum typicum: Senonian

Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970, p.143: Deflandrea ingramii
Shell rather flat, approximately oval in outline with a thin, untabulated wall, and a small, flat, median apical projection on the left-hand side. Slight lateral concavities indicative of a transverse girdle are evident in the holotype.
A large oval capsule almost fills the shell both laterally and longitudinally. Its wall is slightly thicker than that of the shell and appears to be ornamented with small, closely arranged, low, dot-like thickenings (Pl. 12, fig. 8).
A six-sided archeopyle is outlined in the apical region of the epitheca of the holotype and the example shown in Pl. 12, fig. 8.
Dimensions: Holotype: length c. 67 µm, breadth 48 µm. Paratype: c. 75 x 56 µm. Range: length c. 68-80 µm, breadth 46-66 µm.
