Original description: Davey, 1988, p. 37
The pre- and postcingular crests are best seen at the lateral margins of the cyst and do not appear to be so well developed within the cyst margins. This could be simply that they are more difficult to observe here or that they are here significantly reduced on the dorsal and ventral surfaces. However, because of the lack of orientation features the latter possibility cannot be proved. The lateral, postcingular crests tend to extend continuously around the antapex of the cyst (pl.8, figs. 1-3), presumably along the dorsal margin of the antapical plate.
