Geiselodinium geiseltalense Krutzsch, 1962

A species of Geiselodinium with equally weakly developed apical and antapical horns. Transverse and longitudinal furrows relatively clear. Shell and central body with up to 1 Ám large pustules, which are slightly larger and more closely spaced ventrally than on the partially smooth dorsal side. Size: central body 55-60 Ám in cross-section, total length c. 65-75 Ám.

Affinities: Krutzsch, 1962, p. 43: Geiselodinium geiseltalensis differs from G. hallense in the development of the apical horn, the more circular outline, the slightly more clearly furrows and the more pronounced sculpture. The specimens are repeatedly torn along the transverse furrow.
